Last weekend as we hiked back to the car we saw people
sliding down this. We had done our fair share of adventuring for the day
so we went back yesterday to check it out.
The weather was perfect, super hot and muggy felt a lot
like a hike I once took along the Na Pali Coast in
Hawaii (let's go again Emily name the time and you know I am in)
so of course I was loving every minute of it.
The Earth is so beautiful.

Lydia, please write me a hiking/swimming guide for next summer! Along with all your favorite camping sites. You guys are always doing something fun.
That slide is seriously steep! I don't know if I would've had the nerve to go down it. Way to go Maya and Ender!
I am SO IN on another Kauai adventure. I think about that trip rather frequently, it was so incredible. This next time for sure I want to hike in further. Maybe a couples trip this next time or just girls?
Can I invite myself to Kauai Part 2?
That is one cool rock slide. Way to take advantage of the good weather and cool location. Oh and Maria kept talking about "Li - deeea" (two words) making her food to eat today. Thanks for feeding them.
You guys have discovered and frequented some of the most beautiful sites I have ever seen.
I hope we can hike to that wondrous spot soon. Love/Dad and Mom Ha
Totally FROZE my tush doing this yesterday! Thanks for the recommendation!
Ditto on the hiking/swimming guide, Lydia. Such adventurers =)
Um hello Opal Creek has a water slide? How did we not know this? Ugh I miss Oregon! and you better believe if you go to Hawaii that I'll be the first to buy my ticket:)
