I see all these photos of kids smiling on the first day of school and I am thinking that is not how it always happens right? This is actually the end of Maya's first day of first grade. So that makes it her first day of all day. Tired anyone?Her teacher told me that at 1pm Maya walked up to her and told her " I'm getting tired. I'm ready to go home."
You have got to admire the spirit. Her teacher told her they just had a little while longer.

Poor thing. Makes you want to laugh and hug her at the same time. She looks like how I feel right now. Time for bed.
