In the picture above this man is dipping his bamboo screen into the water with fibers in it and it forms a film. They would add color to this step of the process but this is going to be white paper.
He takes off a screen that is trapping the fibers and flips it around and turns it over.
He peels off the screen and puts a pink string down to separate the many layers of wet paper that he has already made.
